This thread is now solely for discussion of potential memorials not covered by the Project in the Renfrewshire area.
I have merged the two Renfrewshire authorities and Inverclyde in this list. As with other lists if there are any errors or omissions please let me know. I have not linked any memorials posted yet.

Can you say if Renfrewshire is complete? I have linked a couple from the list but there are 5 still showing and I noticed you mentioned Inchinnan in the 'to do' list.

On Saturday 6th of September 1924 a memorial to the 106 former pupils of Paisley Grammar school was unveiled. It comprises of a rectors chair with screen and platform. Each side of the chair has bronze panels which record the names of the fallen.

While researching Glasgow Academy War Memorial I was looking up one of it's former pupils and the Search Engine threw up "Ranfurly Church" in Bridge of Weir. Apparently it has a memorial. Not sure if one that's been picked up.
I believe it is known as St Machar's Ranfurly. |
