Please have a look here: http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=3411
The photos on dhubthaigh's thread above (Captain John Wilson Lawson), look IDENTICAL to those used on the Golf Club's site although the site claims copyright?
Thoughts anyone?

The images used by Dr Kerr Fraser are certainly the ones I took at Dunning a few years ago.
I looked at his extensive list of source acknowledgements but can't see anything for myself (because there was no contact) or SWMP.

I glad to hear it's not just me who thinks they're your photos!
Perhaps he 'was given permission' by Edinburgh's War to use them as they are listed as one of his sources?
Obviously we are all well aware that when we post our photos on the forums, they can be copied willy-nilly, but the bit that gets me most is when someone slaps a copyright on something that obviously isn't theirs in the first place.

I have received an interesting reply to an e-mail I sent to the Golf Club. |

What was the reply Mark?
Are you (or SWMP) going to be acknowledged?

There is a photo on the site saying David was 4th Gordon this is not sure he was 6th Camerons. The site also has him remembered in Arras again not true.
I have contacted the Golf Club in the hope we can get the info corrected.
