I was travelling by the slow bus from Stirling to Glasgow this morning (takes 1.5 hours!!) One of the (many) stops was outside the Condorrat War Memorial Social Club and there on the wall was a memorial to about 6 or 7 men from the village who fell in the Great War. High on the wall are the dates 1914-1918. We didn't stop long enough for me to note the names.
The address is:
Condorrat War Memorial Welfare Social Club
9 Main Road, Cumbernauld
Glasgow
G67 4BT
Telephone: 01236 451040
My apologies if this information is already on the Forum - I couldn't find it despite trawling for about half an hour.
