Following correspondance between myself and UKNIWM, they have now added a new category of War Memorial - ‘Scottish Covenanters (1638-1687)’. The first was added today, The Auchencloy Monument.

Well done Paul. What were they recorded under before?

Auchencloy and Larg Hill which I have submitted were not listed. Two others have been moved to the new category: Rullion Green and a memorial at Dreghorn Barracks (UKNIWM 61747) which were previously listed as 17th century wars.

I have passed it many times but it has usually been dark, or raining or I didn't have appropriate footwear with me. You need to see the sign for the cottage which you can only really see when travelling up the hill (away from Edinburgh). It's near the new waterworks but expect to miss it, turn around and get it on the way back down.
