Forbes Brothers Memorial
Pennyfuir Cemetery, Oban
OS Ref: NM 871 321

I'd originally posted this on the Scottish War Graves Project as a grave but since both boys have no known grave and I don't think their parents David Douglas Forbes or Jeanie Menzies Forbes are buried here then this is probably a memorial. It's worth posting here again anyway for the very good carving of a Lee Enfield No.1 Mk III

I'd clas this as more for the War Graves Project since it's in a cemetery. I believe that wad the criteria we agreed.

Ah, what the heck, I'll allow it here as well. Just don't do it again... Laughing

I suppose I'm pushing it here but I was so impressed with the rifle I thought it a shame to have it in the middle of all the graves on the SWGP forum where it could be easily overlooked.
