I don't know of any source to research RAF accidents between the wars.

It wasn't till I got home and read the plaque that I realised I had missed the window. I remember looking at it, but I don't think it was anything to do with the son, just the parents. (Of course, I may be wrong!)

Not listed on UKNIWM.
It would be interesting to see if UKNIWM would consider the plaque alone to be the memorial, or the plaque and window combined. I would guess the latter.

This is WMR 69235.
From my reading of the plaque the War Memorials Register would not consider the window to be part of the memorial, as it seems to have been given at least 6 years before his death.
Of course if there was contrary documentary evidence that would be reviewed.
