When St Bernard's and St Stephen's merged to form Stockbridge Parish Church the St Bernard's Halls in Dean Street were sold and St Stephen's are now used as the Church halls. That would probably explain why a St Bernard's memorial is in St Stephen's.

The inscription 'St Bernard's Sunday Schools' made me wonder why there was more than one.
It is perhaps because in 1915 the former Dean United Free Church and St Bernard's United Free Church merged to form St Bernard's South Church. (It merged again in 1945 to form St Bernard's-Davidson and again in 1980 to form St Bernard's Stockbridge, and again recently to form Stockbridge Parish Church)
There was also the established St Bernard's Church nearby as well so I don't know if they are included too?
