The Old Parish Church , Kirk Square , Arbroath has in the recent years had an internal building put inside it as it is a Listed Building and is now an office of the Angus Council . Behind the "partacabin Office " are still the old church contents as they are Listed as well .
The Organ front of the old parish church is still in situ and above the organ area is the War memorial to the Congregation for the Great War and WW2.
In the Centre of the wood framework of the War Memorial is a Cross with the words " Their Name Liveth for Ever More " and to the side of that wording is the Names , Rank , Battalion & Regiment /Corps and the YEARS ..........1914 - 1919
On either side of the 1914 - 1919 is these words " To The Glory of God and in Abiding Remembrance of the Men belonging to This Congregation who Fell in the GREAT WAR
Below that Great War war memorial of all the congregation's war dead there is another War Memorial panel with the 1939 - 1945 years and listing the names , ranks and Battalion & Regiment / Cprps
A splendid war memorial as I knew about it from going to the Arbroath High School Christmas and Easter end of term church service

I obtained entry to the War Memorial at the rear of the Council Offices by arranging a time and date to visit with the Angus Council Office manager at the location
