The Dryfesdale memorial to the men and women who died in WW2 is inside the Town Hall in Lockerbie. I have a photo of it, but can't upload it to your site.
The WW1 memorial is the statue in the town square. |

Hi Isabelle, Welcome to the forum. I think the memorial you are talking about is the one I photographed and David posted the link above. If you have any other info about the memorial or the men listed on it, please be sure to post it.
One memorial that I am missing for Lockerbie is in All Saints Episcopal Church which I think has closed now? If you are from the area, perhaps you can advise if this is so and where the memorial might be?

Yes, this is the plaque that David has photographed. Sorry I should have checked this. I'll try and find out about the All Saints one.
I have also a photo of the plaque at Cummertrees Church for WW2. I got stuck trying to upload to your site from Photobox, but will try again. |

Cummertrees memorials are posted at http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=961 including photos taken of the Lychgate after renovation. But again if you have any info to add we would be very grateful.
A list of all the Dumfries and Galloway memorials I have identitifed (including links to those that have already been posted) is at http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=938
I have not been inside Cummertrees church so do not know if there might be any more memorials inside.
