Thought I'd better say hello as I've been prowling through your site! I joined last night, having seen a link on Scotfamtree.

Your site is very interesting and I see several family names (all Gordons) on your Monuments and Rolls of Honour. Would you be interested in further details (dates of birth, occupations etc) of any of them?

We've been to Belgium on three visits and last year saw the unveiling of the Celtic Cross at Zonebek which, coincidentally, is where my husband's grandfather was killed in 1917.

My name is Christine Wood aka Woody, but as this was disallowed as a user name I've gone for Glendale as I'm a Sgiathanach!

Christine,

Welcome to the forum. We'd be delighted with any information you have on any of the names on memorials. Adding "meat on the bones" is what we're all about here.

Regards,

David McNay

Hi Christine, welcome.

There's a nice thread in the "Overseas" section on the new memorial at Zonnebeke.
