This is on the UKNI.

Location is the cemetery gates just north of the village on the old main rd, now a dead end.

I didn't think the plates would photo well, they are well shaded and you need the right angle of sun, or flash which I didn't have.

So I read the details into a dictaphone and hope I didn't make too many errors. It is easy to get the McLellans and McLennans mixed up.

Must be more careful next time.

Here's the list:

UKNIWM 5913
I am afraid I only have photo of 1939-45 plaque.
However, I have a photo of panel in Mallaig Heritage Centre. Thanks to Malcolm Poole for permission to use. The Centre is well worth a visit but remember the panels on display are subject to change.

UKNIWM Ref: 5913
O/S map ref: NM 677 937

The memorial takes the form of an archway into the old section of the Morar Cemetery.
The memorial records 17 names from the Great War on a plaque attached to the left pillar and 9 names on a tablet on the right from the Second World War.
Also attached at the rear is a memorial plaque commemorating Charles Lyons, MM & Bar.
