I climbed up the hill to this obelisk that overlooks Fort William.
It is erected in memory of Ian Alastair (Gordon Highlanders) and Captain Peter Campbell.

Incidently, Captain Peter Campbell appears to be the brother of Colonel John Campbell of the 92nd (Gordon) Highlanders who died at Waterloo: see this post
The Colonel's obelisk is larger than the Captain's! _________________ Remembering my ggf, Pte Thomas Roberts, 10 SR, killed 25 Sep 15 at Loos.
