An Identical Plaque in memory of Larsen and all concerned with the Shetland Bus can be found on Lunna House at Vidlin.

I do apologise about the spelling. I did visit Lunna House but it was undergoing serious building work and there were barriers preventing me gaining access.

Ian,
The spelling would have been OK if he was Swedish or Danish Wink We all make those little typos, me more than most. Embarassed
The Lunna area is steeped in history and is a 'must visit' for anybody visiting the isles. Especially the Lunna Kirk, which is always open. Hope you had a chance to visit it. Very Happy

I did visit the church and spent some time exploring the area. That part of the mainland is very beautiful and, fortunately, I had excellent weather.
