Thanks to Mrs Aase Goldsmith for the photos.
This is new memorial unveiled at Gilmerton Estate, Brigton near Cameron on 6th Aug 2008.





Gentleman in last photo is Mr John Litster Paul. He remembers crash and in his hand is holding plans of local POW. He got these from a German POW who loved the place and was very reluctant to go home - and drew the plan from memory when he got there. He came back to visit "his old home" years later and gave Mr Paul the plan

Does anyone have any other knowledge of this POW camp?
