Invermoriston - Inverness District
The Invermoriston war memorial has a square base constructed of rustic grey granit blocks and surmounted by a rustic grey granit pillar. Like many Highland memorials the homes of the dead are also listed which perhaps demonstrates the close association with the land which was felt in rural communities. The lower face is dressed and bears the names of the dead. It stands at the corner of the road junction in the middle of the village.
