Listed on this war memorial is 2nd Lieut Sinclair Mowat , RFC

he is listed in a book " Airmen Died in the Great War 1914-1918 compiled by Chris Hobson : 1995"

Page 75 : RFC casualties

2nd Lieut Sinclair Alexander Mowat , 31 Tr Sqn RFC, Pilot , kwf 2 July 1917 , buried Olrig Caithness

and Page 250 RFC casualties for 2 JULY 1917 :

2nd Lieut S A Mowat , 31 Tr Sqn RFC, kwf in Graham - White XV , No A 1707 , UK

Do the brackets indicate a familial link? If so that's a lot of brothers/fathers/uncle deaths.

This unveiling report seems to be the right one but the article gets the number of men listed on it wrong.

Unveiled on Saturday 29th of August.
