On 23 Aug 15, a memorial to the Burghead Shetland Bus will be officially dedicated.
When I can remember how, I'll upload a couple of photos. Same ones as on the following FB page.
https://www.facebook.com/burgheadshetlandbus _________________ Remembering my ggf, Pte Thomas Roberts, 10 SR, killed 25 Sep 15 at Loos.
Also remembering Flt Lt Al Squires and CXX/3 killed 2 Sep 06 in Afghanistan. |

I saw this in the news the other day. It's great to know the war work of the Moray Firth harbours are being recognised. Peterhead (I know that's round the corner on the North Sea coast but it's near enough) was a Norwegian Navy base for clandestine operations for example.
Derek has started a useful post on attaching photographs here:

All the best
