I thought this was strange - 'Killed in Action over Bremen' but buried at Cleish!
The superb Lost Bombers website reveals all;
Berlin 29/30 Dec 43- aircraft hit by Flak near Bremen on return leg; Flight Engineer Sgt A. Braid was killed and two engines put out of service. F/O E.R.F. Leggett flew home on two engines and landed safely. The aircraft was repaired on Station in one day.
