Angus Heritage have made a list of all ww1 memorials in Angus; details can be found here: http://angusheritage.com/Places/WW1-Heritage-Trail/Places-WW1-Heritage-Trail.aspx
There is a downloadable PDF with information about the main memorials and a map showing all they have discovered.
(I realise this could probably go under Dundee and Angus but there may be forum members who wouldn't look in that section yet would find the info interesting. If I've erred (again!!) I'm sure someone will move the post.) |

I note this forum doesn't get a mention in the PDF but the SWGP does.

You will note that there is one error on the leaflet published which is also on the website viz Angus Heritage -WW1 heritage Trail leaflet :
under the Arbroath war memorial it has Webster Memorial Theatre was named in honour of James Frain Webster THIS should read JOSEPH FRAIN WEBSTER . (Technically the building was originally called the WEBSTER HALL but more recently named Webster Memorial Theatre ).
a good wee leaflet and pictures too
