ALEXANDER BALMER USHER
MAJOR 1ST LOTHIAN AND BORDER YEOMANRY
WHO WAS WOUNDED AND MISSING NEAR
ST VALERY ON 11TH JUNE 1940 AND DIED
AT ST VALERY 18TH JUNE 1940
HE WAS LAID TO REST IN THE BRITISH
CEMETERY AT ST VALERY-EN-CAUX
THEY SHALL GROW NOT OLD AS WE THAT
ARE LEFT GROW OLD. AGE SHALL NOT
WEARY THEM NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN
