PHOTOS COURTESY OF PAT ANDERSON

Apologies unsure if this is actually civic or church memorial.
*EDIT*

Looked at John Hendry's list but still unclear (to me!)

I found out from residents in this area of the Isle of Skye that the church was a ruin and the residents rebuilt this one end of the church and then placed their War Memorial tablet on it .

There are war graves in this churchyard as well

Roll of Honour for Skye & Lochalsh by Graham Ross . Copies retained for the public viewing in the Portree Library and in Inverness library.

Kilmaluag War Memorial;

The erection of the Kilmaluag War Memorial is unique in Skye and Lochalsh in that it was built into the western gable of one of the earliest Christian Churches in Skye. This gable had been rebuilt to house the marble tablet containing the names of the 12 men from the area who had fallen in the Great War. The religious ceremony was conducted by the Reverend MacDonald of Kilmuir , assisted by the Reverend Stewart, the Parish Minister . The Memorial was then unveiled by Major Livingston MacDonald of Floddigarry after he had read out the names of the fallen.

The Memorial is situated on the western gable of the ruined church in Kilmaluag Cemetery just off the main village road and was unveiled in July 1925
