"All These Fine Fellows" - Hawick & District and the Great War 1914-1918
I published this book locally in 1999.
As the title suggests, it tells the story of the men of Hawick and her surrounding villages who fought in the Great War, using where possible, the actual words of those who were there at the time.
I'm very proud of this book but saddened that it never received the coverage in the local area that the story deserved.
Undetered though, I'm planning an updated version for publication in 2018.
I'm hoping by that time to be able to trace ALL of those who appear on the War Memorials in the area and have sketch biographies for them.

No, it's the 1998 version.
I've also had a small run of the 1998 book reprinted and available on Amazon and E-bay.
A new Hawick book may be available for 2018. _________________
