This little bronze plaque is on the East side of the Prestonpans War Memorial and I think deserves a thread of its own.

UKNIWM ref 44825. There is also a seat (44826) which has a reference to Spanish Civil War.

According to http://www.international-brigades.org.uk/british_volunteers/roll_of_honour.htm One man with a Prestonpans connection was killed in the Spanish Civil War:
