Although listed on the stone as the sons of Robert and Annie Leishman (nee Brown), Charles Rhodes was Robert's step-son.

Charles Rhodes was born 28th August 1883 at 17 Stone Street, Gourock to James Rhodes, House Painter (Journeyman) and Ann Rhodes (nee Brown).
His parents, James (age 20) and Ann (age 17) married at 17 Stone Street Gourock on 21st August 1883. His father James died on 23rd April 1886 - cause of death given on his Death Certificate was Diabetes and Phthisis (TB). His widowed mother subsequently married Robert Leishman on 2nd March 1888 at Greenock.

ADAM MACAULAY who died as the result of the Great War.

Insufficient information to identify.

The names of the main/front panel of the stone are:
Andrew Gilchrist (husband of Janet Walker who was drowned while skating on Banton Loch on New Year’s Day 1891 aged 30 years.)
and Jenny Gilchrist (his daughter)aged 5 years.


I have tried searching under variants of Macaulay and Gilchrist but can't find anything under either.
