Mark

It is possible he was of a Scots Regiment and attached to the Nigerian Regiment
He will not be a problem if he was serving at his death.

Forbes is not recorded by CWGC. There is no record of a William D Forbes having died overseas in 1918. It may be he died at Home or Ireland.

It is likely he served in a local regiment and was attached to the Nigeria Regt. He would not have been a Private in that regiment as the OR's were native troops. He must have been posted from another unit.
