On Friday 6th Nov. a headstone was erected over the grave of one of the non-comms I discovered whilst researching the City of Glasgow RoH.
The name of the non-comm is Peter Liddiard and he was interred in the Glasgow Southern Necropolis.
David Cowan, BBC Scotland, filmed the event and as a consequence asked if he could interview me.
The interview took place this morning and will be shown on BBC Reporting Scotland 6.30 news (all 30 seconds of it!) either tonight or more likely tomorrow night.
Hopefully a little bit of PR for the group.

Thats Great John and to find the last resting place of a WW1 casualty too is so wonderful .
Saw the BBC scotland news report this mornng around 7am (11/11/20) and then as you said a much longer report and you in the story and you as a member of the Scottish Military Research Group in this report .
Thank you John for doing the special research to find the Casualty and have him taken out from the Cold and Remembered with a CWGC headstone and remembered as a casualty of war from TB in the end .
Pat
