School memorials are very difficult, but very rewarding to bring them into the public domain. I had the great priveledge to travel to the Battlefields earlier this year with a number of pupils from the school. They are proud of their memorial which is remembered every November.

I've just noticed the date range is 1939 to 1946. Is that unusual?
I wonder if it's because of Janet's date of death?

It could also be they had one or more serving in palestine which followed on directly from 1945

Could also depend on the cause of their death.
