This used to be the Garrison Church for Hamilton Barracks, so there are a lot of memorials in this church. This one is the memorial for the congregation.

Further in to the Church (the plaque is to the right of the door you enter) there is a Rood, which I am told (or rather I looked it up on the internet) is a cross erected at the entry to the chancel.
