Named on Rutherglen War Memorial and recorded on SNWM as:

Sgt William Graham, 18468, Royal Air Force, School of Navigation and Bombing. Born Barony, Lanarkshire. Died 13 December 1918.

Sgt Graham died at Stobhill Military Hospital of influenza.

Not recorded on CWGC.

Terry from In From The Cold says, "He will qualify as his records confirm he was still in service."

Next (and probably biggest) challenge is to find where Sgt Graham is buried. Thanks to Ken Morrison who has given me a lot of help on this.

Rutherglen Cemetery is a possibility, try emailing bereavement.services@southlanarkshire.gov.uk to see if they can assist.

South Lanarkshire bereavement services have come up trumps! This morning they e-mailed to say they have found the lair and the list of interments therein, including William Graham. Now we just need to find if he will be recognised ...
