Ferry Flight, No.2 AD, Richmond.
Ferry to 2 OTU, Mildura.
Took off from Richmond airfield, NSW, on a ferry flight to Mildura in Victoria. The aircraft failed to gain altitude after take-off from Richmond airfield and managed to do part of a circuit, when it stalled in the turn, hit the ground and burst into flames.
