A simple chased brass tablet on oak was recently unveiled in the Church.
To the glory of God and in memory of the men of this Church who fell in the Great War 1914-1919

Photographs of this memorial and the WW2 joint Leighton/East Churches and of the WW1 memorial of the former East Church, all now at St Blane's Church (the former East Church) have been submitted to the WMR, and have beien attached to the relevant records: 79767 for Leighton WW1, 5779 for East Church WW1 and 86581 for WW2
For WW1 note that the backboard was lost in the move, but there is a brass plaque above it recording that move
The WW2 Brass Plaque reads:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND/IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF EAST AND LEIGHTON CHURCHES/WHO FELL IN THE SECOND GREAT/WAR 1939-1945/[names in 2 columns]
