Any thoughts on whether the WW2 bench should be posted as a separate memorial here ? |

I would agree, technically it should be under "other memorials". It has it's own UKNIWM Ref (44645).

I tend to think they should be listed together here as Old Machar War Memorials. Note two words
The WW2 bench is clearly an integral part of an area set specifically set aside as a memorial. UKNIWM is bound to list them seperately are they are two individual structures. _________________ Jim

Yep, it's the right man Anne.
(Glasgow Herald 22nd June 1915)
"Seaman James Thomson, Howe Battalion, is reported killed in action. He lived at Denmore, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, and was a farm servant." |

WMR 44644 has now been removed, as a duplicate record.
The seat, WMR 44645, remains as a record as, technically, this is a different memorial, albeit at the same location |
