This is a post I never thought I would have to make. I learned today that Anne Anderson, our secretary and founder member of our society, sadly passed away on Thursday night.
I'm finding it difficult to find the correct words to say right now. Anne was a great supporter of the research work we did, and was always available to lend a hand or provide support in any way she could. I will miss her so much.
My thoughts are with her family. RIP. |

I am utterly shocked to hear this. Anne was such an enthusiastic researcher who helped me immensely. I enjoyed many an interesting telephone conversation with her over the years. The last e-mail I had were words of support for myself and family.
Dreadful news.
Thoughts with Marc, her family and friends.

Anne will be greatly missed by the group and as my friend. She always was willing to help with any queries and share her knowledge of anything military. Many chats we had either over the phone or over a coffee.
Rest in peace Anne, you will never be forgotten.

Just adding our condolences from all at the Bo'ness War Memorial project.
We never met Anne but had tons of email correspondence and she helped our project from the outset proving advice, photos and all sorts of help.
Her generosity and kindness was unmatched and she will always be remembered.
Rest in Peace Anne x
