Two tablets (served and fallen), both for the Great War;
There was also an Episcopalian Church (demolished) and Free Church (ruins) within the village. If they had plaques/memorials I doubt if there whereabouts are/will ever be known.

Although not confirmed I was informed today that the plaques inside Meigle Church actually came from the former U.F. Church in the village. This church has since been converted into a private house. |

I have a copy of the unveiling ceremony and these plaques are indeed for the former Meigle U.F. Church congregation. I have changed the topic heading accordingly. |
