Thomas and Archibald (known as Tom and Archie) were the only sons of Rev Thomas D Miller who was the minister of Kirkurd Parish Church during the Great War. Tom was killed at Gallipoli in 1915 while Archie was shot down over Belgium in 1917.

Aged 21
1st Bn. King's Own Scottish Borderers

Son of the Rev. T. D. and Margaret Julia Miller, of Kirkurd Manse, Dolphinton, Peeblesshire and Inveraven, Bridgend, Perth. A noted Rugby football player.
Commemorated at HELLES MEMORIAL

Died 13/07/1917
Aged 21
29th Sqdn. Royal Flying Corps
and 1st Bn. King's Own Scottish Borderers

Son of the Rev. Thomas Duncan Miller, M.A., and Margaret Julia Grant Miller, of Inveraven, Bridgend, Perth.
HARLEBEKE NEW BRITISH CEMETERY

The brothers are also named on a memorial and window in St. John's Kirk in Perth.
