Again, no plaques for the Second World War for this congregation.
There is more gaelic inscription at the bottom of the plaque. Anyone with information on how this would translate please. I would be interested to know.
Here is the CWGC record for Samuelson;

Name: SAMUELSON, GEOFFREY BERNARD FITZROY
Initials: G B F
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Lieutenant
Regiment/Service: Coldstream Guards
Unit Text: 1st Bn.
Age: 20
Date of Death: 27/11/1917
Awards: M C
Additional information: Son of Sir Herbert Samuelson, K.B.E., of 58, Grosvenor St., London. Educated at Eton and Sandhurst. Enlisted in East Surrey Regt. Sept., 1914, but obtained Commission in Coldstream Guards. Previously wounded in 1916.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 2.
Memorial: CAMBRAI MEMORIAL, LOUVERVAL

Quite varied connections up Rannoch way. I assume very popular for well to do folks holidaying or indeed owning property there.

From 'The Scotsman' - Monday, 11th April 1921, page 5

Kinloch Rannoch

Two handsome brasses have been erected in Kinloch Rannoch Parish Church, the first by the congregation and proprietors to the memory of the men of the parish, and the second presented by his widow in memory of the late Rev. Wm. Urquhart, B.D. parish minister, who fell at Mametz in August 1916. A handsome lectern has also been presented by his fellow students and friends.
