I think this may be a new memorial as Morgan Academy was destroyed by fire a few years back. Thanks to Hugh Macrae for the photos;

I have discovered that the printed Roll of Honour books are available-WW1 is held in the Barrack Street Museum annexe and WW2 is in the Local History section of the Central Library in the Wellgate.Will post pics in due course.
The previous Rector informs me that sadly the one off,beautifully illustrated Roll of Honour,held in a casket in the main entrance at the school,was consumed in the fire.It has not been replaced and i am not aware of any pics of it-i hope that someone somewhere does! |
