There is only one 'Cove and Kilcreggan' WM. The UKNIWM has two entries for the same memorial as the photo of the memorial on file for 5965 'Garden' is the same memorial as 8539 'Burgh Hall'.

If you drop them a line, suggesting which one to remove, they will probably do that. They have removed 2 duplicates that I found.

Just found the following:
"In the village hall there are framed rolls of honour, listing the names of all those who served in both conflicts."
here http://www.lochgoilhistory.co.uk/chapter6.pdf
so can we add these 2 memorials to the list please and if anyone is in the area, can they please try and get access to photograph?

you have an Achnamara WM listed
I suspect this is the North Knapdale WM you have already posted.
This memorial stands at the junction of two roads at the head of Loch Sween. you come in on the B8025 from Crinan. The left hand minor road goes to Achnamara and the ruined castle Sween, the right hand road goes to Tayvallich. this is the continuation of the B8025.

The memorial described as;
Dunoon , Location - Clifftop , Cowal , UKNIM Ref no. 44793
Is identified as;
Near to, and across the road from the Castle Hill in Tom-a-Mhoid Road, stands a stone Celtic Cross memorial erected by the Clan Lamont Society in 1906 to mark the sport where their forefathers were butchered at the hands of the Campbells in 1646. Probably the most dramatic and terrible event in Dunoon's long history |

Have made a stab at the Civic List for this area. After cross referencing Adam's original list with various sources the vast majority would appear to have been done with the information available.
Will have a look over things again and update the 'to do' list. A beautiful area of Scotland that I'd love to visit.

Glenaray & Inveraray Roll of Honour, Civic, WW1, WW2 & Boer.
I visited Inverary recently and I think the various memorials already posted here might need a slight re-shuffle.
The Civic - on the Loch Shore and has been classified as 'Civic', so that's OK.
All the others are within the Parish Church as follows:
1. (WW1) A Plaque + Prayer Desk which held a Roll of Honour.
Inveraray, Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church Parishioners, Great War, Served , Location - Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church , Mid Argyll , UKNIM Ref no. 44608.
The Plaque is in the Church, but no sign of the Roll of Honour and the person I spoke to didn't know anything about it. Apparently the Roll (in book form) was stolen in the 1980's but recovered from a London antique dealer. It's present whereabouts - I don't know. (David has a copy of this I believe?)
2. (WW1) Plaque.
Inveraray, Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church Parishioners, WW2 Fell , Location - Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church , Mid Argyll , UKNIM Ref no. 44615
3. (WW2) Plaque.
Inveraray, Inveraray Parishioners, WW2 , Location - Parish Church , Mid Argyll , UKNIM Ref no. 44607
4. (Boer War) Roll of Honour.
Inveraray, Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church Parishioners, Boer War , Location - Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church , Mid Argyll , UKNIM Ref no. 44621
At the moment, after a small discussion, the WW1 & WW2 Plaques have been listed within the Civic Section, see:
WW1: http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=7600&highlight=glenaray
WW2: http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=7601&highlight=glenaray
I think it was because there was a slight discrepancy on the amount of names listed, that these were suggested to be 'Civic', but I imagine that might be quite simply explained by the fact that we know a huge amount of 'Civic' memorials have had additional names added to them whereas on church plaques, tablets etc., this isn't quite so common.
I have updated photos of all of them, but will await the 'general consensus of opinion' before either making new threads or updating existing ones.
I can't seem to find the Boer War Roll of Honour listed - so I'd be obliged if someone could have a wee rake about for me is case I've missed it.
