Major McGregor Jobson, 4th Battn KOSB died on 3rd May1918,aged 40,whilst a prisoner.Originally from Dundee but mother in Melrose and wife in Galashiels.
Can anyone supply any further info/pic ?

A Director and secretary of Messrs Wright & Jobson, yarn spinners, Tweed Mill, Gala.
Lived Langrig, Gala with wife and 2 children.

Captain in KOSB Territorials and served with 1/4th KOSB at Gallipoli where he was wounded.

Transferred to Seaforth Highlander and died of wounds 3rd May 1918 after being shot in the lung in France and captured. Aged 40. Reported missing 12th April 1918.

Dumfries and Galloway Standard 30/6/1915 p.4
News has been received that Captain M. Jobson, of the 1/4th King’s Own Scottish Borderers (Territorials), was wounded in the leg on the 18th inst, at the Dardanelles. The l/4th K.O.S.B. left Scotland about the end of May. They are in the same brigade as the l/5th K. 0.5.8. and this is the first intimation that they been in action. Captain Jobson is a member of the firm of Messrs Jobson (Limited), woollen yarn spinners, Tweed Mills, Galashiels.

Galashiels.
Major Macgregor Jobson, K. 0.5.8., attached Seaforth Highlanders, who was wounded and taken prisoner war in April last, is now officially reported as having died of wounds while prisoner of war. He had been shot through the left lung. Major Jobson, who was 40 years of age. was a director in the firm of Wright & Jobson. yarn spinners. Tweed Mill, Galashiels, and was well known in the Border woollen industry. He had been a deacon Galashiels Manufacturers' Corporation. Before the war held the rank of Captain in the Galashiels detachment of the K.O.S.B. Major Jobson leaves a widow and two children.

The CWGC grave registration documents originally showed him as 4 Seaforths.

His ICRC PoW records have born 3/4/1878 in Dundee.
