No. 2928537 Private Malcolm Smith, The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders (Stranraer, Wigtown).

Sunday Post 3/8/1941
Private Malcolm Smith, of the Camerons, whose home is at Stranraer, has been awarded the D.C.M. Ho was wounded Keren, Abyssinia, and is still in hospital.

Sunday Post 26/8/1945
Malcolm Smith, D.C.M., Kirkcolm, Stranraer, was killed in a motor cycling accident in Western Europe.
