The Milton War Memorial is a rounded stone set within an iron railing enclosed area beside the A82 in the schoolyard of the former Milton Primary School. It is now a 'Socks 'n' Slides' nursery.

An unusual memorial not just because of the design using a boulder but the fact that Private Creer gets his own entry under 1914-1919. The other Great War names are listed as B.E.F. even though Pte Marshall served in the NZEF!

Regards

Several of these names are also on the Bowling WM. This is in the next village about 2 miles towards Glasgow.
