Here is a link to a Friends page just started for Millport war memorial , Any help our team can offer would be most welcome.
I run the Neilston war memorial face book page and the Barrhead site in Renfrewshire, I am friendly with the Owner of the Inverkip war memorial site. That 4 sites in a wee corner of Scotland, Do you think we could add a page to the site that list all the Facebook pages that have a dedicated interest in their local War memorial? This might encourage others to adopt their local memorial and start to list the named persons on (or not) the memorial

Good idea Matt.
I'm not particularly a fan of Facebook, but if it brings like-minds together, then why not!

Oh Ken!
Get with the programme!!!
Try this link: https://www.facebook.com/ScottishMilitary/?fref=ts
You might have to register, I can't remember off-hand, but it's definately worth considering. You can keep your 'page' private so no-one but the people you choose can see what you post.

I'm not a fan of Facebook but to "get the message out there", I've a "Hawick & The Great War" page there - and "@HawickRemembering" on Twitter. _________________
