Came across this soldier whilst researching the Glasgow Police War Memorial.
John Hamilton Irwin, Born 28/12/1888 in Lurgan Co. Armagh, occupation Moulder. He enlisted on 07/09/1914. Do not know his DOD.
In the Glasgow RoH he is listed as a Private in the Scots Guards, address 156 Caledonian Road Glasgow.
However I am having trouble locating him on CWGC & SNWM.
Details are with kinnethmont.

John

He died in Glasgow (at home) on the 12th of October 1918 of Pulmonary T.B. having suffered from it for over 11 months, Influenza for 6 days and capilliary bronchities 3 days.
He was married to Williamina Fisher and is described as an Police Constable (Army Pensioner) so he was discharged at some point.
