Location: St Marys Episcopal Church, Auchingramont Road, Hamilton.

This memorial takes the form of an aumbry, which is a cupboard used to store the sacrament used in communion. I believe this one is no longer used, as there was another one in a more central location in the church.
It commemorates Commander Spencer Dundas Forbes, of HMS Monmouth, which sank in the naval action off Coronel in 1914.

The aumbry is the small wooden "box" shape underneath the plaque.
