Cemetery: AYR CEMETERY, Ayrshire

Locality: unspecified
Historical Information: The 1914-1918 War burials are scattered over all parts of the cemetery and 1939-1945 War graves are in several special groups. A War Cross is erected in the Old Ground, near the main entrance. There are now over 100, 1914-1918 and nearly 120, 1939-1945 War casualties commemorated in this site.

CWGC Crosses, where they are CWGC owned, are not listed as memorials on the War Memorials Register, ex UKNIWM.
They are listed where they are replica crosses of sacrifice, but given the number of burials, this is clearly CWG owned. |
