This memorial is co-located with the memorial to those that fell from the adjacent villages of Melbost and Branahuie. The memorials stand opposite the entrance to Stornoway Airport.

The RAF memorial is a low circular drystone memorial with an oval brass plaque inserted into its top. It lies on a circular piece of tarmac immediately adjacent to the entrance to Stornoway Airport.
