I've checked the CWGC database for the 8 men buried in Langdorp Churchyard in Aarshot. None seem to be suitable candidates. There's even a Danish RAFVR officer buried there.
There is one Scot but he's from Lanarkshire:
McARDLE, PATRICK DESMOND
Rank: Sergeant (Nav.)
Regiment/Service: Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
Unit Text: 218 Sqdn.
Age: 23
Date of Death: 22/06/1943
Service No: 1241848
Additional information: Son of John and Bridget McArdle, of Netherton, Wishaw, Lanarkshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Coll. grave 4-5.
Cemetery: LANGDORP CHURCHYARD, Aarshot, Belgium |

Langdorp Churchyard, Aarschot does not contain any commonwealth war graves for men whose name contains the letters VO - one more idea bites the dust!
(you pipped me to it) |

To be honest I'm quite an idiot on the 9th Line Reg myself. It is a regular infantry regiment. In Flemish : 9e Linie Regiment.
One of our members has taken contact with the Aarschot Historical Society to see if they know more on the matter. |

It also seems that in October 1914 Aarschot was retaken for a short time from the Germans. Perhaps the grave is from this period... ? |

These 5 were either born or lived in Glasgow. However, they are either buried or remembered elsewhere. Could it be one was killed at "Battle of Aarschot"? If we knew date might be able to tie in.
Peter Von dod 17/5/1915 Cuinchy
Hugh McEvoy dod 25/11/1917 Tyne Cot
John McEvoy dod 14/11/1916 Thiepval
Robert McIvor dod 7/11/1914 Ypres
Alexander/Alistair McIvor dod 25/9/1915 Loos
Is Aarschot near any of the above? |

Sorry, not in that region. It is located near the border of the provinces of Antwerp and Flemish Brabant, to the north east of Leuven.
To give an idea on the map of Belgium :
