This is a new memorial (2005) and is located on a grass area beside the small car park for the cemetery, at the side of Dunscore Church. This is in additional to the other memorial to Jane which is inside the church.

The memorial is not yet listed on UKNIWM.

OS Map Ref: NX 866 843

Jane Haining from Dunscore kirk where he father had been a Free kirk minister

It seems that 2 stained glass windows were erected in her memory at Queens Park C of S kirk in Glasgow as she attended that church after leaving her parents home in Dunscore .

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-34209004

"A Christian missionary who died at the notorious Auschwitz concentration camp is to be recognised at a church in Dumfries and Galloway.

Jane Haining was killed at the Nazi death camp in 1944 after dedicating her life to working with Jewish children in Budapest.

A plaque in her memory will now be installed in Dunscore Parish Church, close to her birthplace.

It is one of eight Historic Scotland will install across the country
."

This is now WMR, ex UKNIWM, memorial 72135.

I remember seeing this memorial in about 2012 but was then unable to action it as it was way outside my area, but now our rules have changed.
