This plaque is very similar to the Boer War plaque in Glasgow Cathedral. This one here is much larger and in poorer condition.

No closeups of the names due to its location high up on the wall. I can provide closeups of the Glasgow Cathedral plaque if anyone wants the names from this one.

Just joined so I'm rather late for this one but YES please David to your offer of the names on this memorial. I have a database of ALL known British Boer war dead and am trying to get a memorial entry for every one. Todate i have over 18,000 out of about 23,000 plus.
