Location: St Marys Episcopal Church, Auchingramont Road, Hamilton.
The stained glass window is quite high up so the inscription on it can be quite hard to read.
It says:
"TO THE GLORY OF GOD IN MEMORY OF CAPT. G SANDHAM LIEUTS. A H SALTMARSHE & A T BRIGHT, COLOUR SERGT. T H E McALLAN & FORTY ONE RANK AND FILE 90TH LIGHT INFANTRY WHO FELL IN ACTION OR DIED FROM WOUNDS OR SICKNESS IN THE KAFFIR WAR 1878 OR ZULU WAR 1879. THIS WINDOW IS GIVEN BY THEIR COMRADES OF ALL RANKS"
Below and to the right of the window are the colours the regiment carried in these conflicts.
